Enjoy your wedding day with Caribbean food

Make your big day extra special with flavoursome Caribbean cuisine

Hiring Aunty Madge's Caribbean catering service for my wedding was one of the best decisions I made during my wedding planning. As a Caribbean bride, I wanted to incorporate the tastes and aromas of my culture into the most important day of my life. Aunty Madge far exceeded my expectations and left my guests raving about the incredible Caribbean food.

A menu bursting with tropical vibes

I'll never forget biting into Aunty Madge's jerk chicken for the first time at my tasting. The poultry was perfectly cooked and slathered in a spicy jerk marinade that had my tastebuds doing a happy dance. We also sampled dishes like oxtail stew, curried goat, rice and peas, plantains, and mac and cheese. The aromas transporting me right back to my childhood.

For dessert we had rum cake, coconut drops, and my favorite - sweet potato pudding. I knew in that moment that my guests were in for a serious treat.

Vibrant food stations

Aunty Madge set up colorful food stations so guests could get a taste of different Caribbean cuisines. There was a Jamaican station with spicy jerk dishes, a Trinidadian station with curry options, and a Bahamian station with crunchy fried fare.

The stations created such an energetic atmosphere and encouraged guests to try a variety of new and exciting dishes. It was so fun to see everyone going back for seconds and thirds!

Family-style service

We chose to have family-style platters brought to each table so guests could dig in together and pass dishes around family-style. The communal style of eating worked perfectly with Caribbean cuisine and mirrored the way we eat back home.

Seeing my diverse group of friends and family bonding over piping hot plates of oxtail, plantains, and rice and peas warmed my heart.

A memorable reception meal

For the reception, Aunty Madge put together a multicourse Caribbean meal that left me in awe. We started with a light callaloo soup and cornbread. The main course was Jerk chicken, stewed oxtail, rice and peas, mac and cheese, fried plantains, and a cabbage slaw. To end the night on a sweet note we had rum cake and sweet potato pudding.

Every single guest raved about the food and how it was the best wedding meal they ever had. I am still getting compliments about Aunty Madge's cooking over a year later!

Delicious Caribbean finger foods

During cocktail hour, Aunty Madge served the most amazing Caribbean finger foods. There were jerk chicken skewers, fried dumplings, ackee and saltfish croquettes, sweet plantain tarts, Jamaican beef patties, and so much more.

Guests grazed on the island-inspired bites while sipping tropical cocktails like rum punch. It was the perfect way to kick off the celebration.

Memories that will last a lifetime

Having Aunty Madge's Caribbean catering was one of the highlights of my wedding day. The food transported me back to my family roots and allowed me to share my culture with all my loved ones. My husband and I will cherish the incredible memories we made over incredible Caribbean cuisine for the rest of our lives.
